What to wear to your Fall Photography Session?

The most important part of the session is YOU! We focus on making sure you stand apart of the background and look your very best. We often recommend our models to wear neutral colors. Patterns and Shapes on clothing usually throws off the picture because it blends too much with the background. Depending on your needs we typically make recommendations that best fit the scene. For example if you're preparing for a session with fall colors we recommend you wear neutral colors such as nude, browns, and whites. What you wear is important. If this is a family session you're interested in make sure all females e.g. mother and daughter wear the same colors and males e.g. father and sons wear similar colors as well. There should be two tones to this family session. For example females can wear white dresses for a fall session and males can wear khaki pants with a white shirt. This will ensure the picture blends well with the fall backdrop colors. If you can't get creative enough we do encourage you to reach out to your photographer and make recommendations on what to wear to your session.

Ortiz Family Shoot

These are some great friends of ours. We appreciate the time they took to bring their family and smiles to our session. We invited them to come take pictures and came up with family outfits within an hour from the session taking place. Notice that the plaid shirts look great but the family color combinations were not the best. That's our bad! We were in a rush to shoot this session for promo purposes. In a regular timely scheduled session we would have coordinated colors a lot better. These are still great fall family pictures and the Ortiz family had a lot of fun. We do encourage all of our customers to have fun in our sessions which is our ultimate goal. Let us plan your next session.
